
Richard Hall is a postdoctoral fellow at Saint Louis University working as part of a research-practice partnership with Saint Louis Public Schools. He recently received his PhD in Leadership, Policy, and Organizations from Vanderbilt University's Peabody College. Prior to beginning a career in academia in 2017, Richard worked as a behavioral interventionist and a school counselor in Vermont and Colorado. Richard joined the NJFS in 2019 while collaborating with his advisor, Joanne Golann. His particular interest with the project is exploring how different family characteristics influence the ways that parents interact with their children. In addition, he is interested in enhancing his understanding of qualitative methods more generally. Richard graduated from Bowdoin College in 2008 with a BA in Government and Legal Studies.
